Back from Chicago Green Festival

This year's Chicago Green Festival was a fun one. The location is phenomenal, right on the Navy Pier in downtown Chicago, complete with lakefront views (when you leave your exhibit long enough to take it in!). Parents have no challenge in enticing their kids to come along because the Navy Pier is replete with kids' entertainment, with mazes, a ferris wheel, etc.

Apparently Mayor Daley's push to be a green city is having its effect, because Chicago residents were enthusiastic about stylish organic kids' clothing at the Green Festival. Many attendees were especially interested in learning how clothing is made and wanted to see examples of each type of green clothing material. Many visitors had no idea that designer children's clothes could actually be eco-friendly too.

Naturally, we found all kinds of green gifts to bring back with us...it's refreshing to see so many green companies out there, making a difference in every aspect of the way we live!
